One of the few songs in the world that charms me in seconds and starts storms in my soul is “Hayastan” by one of Armenia’s greatest singers that passed away few years ago.

The strength of this song has no limits…it connects you to your roots, it gives you chills and shivers and tears and leaves you speechless. The only song that reminds you of things you never felt, the song that takes you in the past and helps you understand and feel every single bullet and knife strike. A song that leaves you in the middle of the desert, to suffer next to your ancestors  starving, hopelessly walking, as if God forgot of them.

A song that reminds you of every single stone in your motherland, every drop in the lakes, every single smile that hides a heart barbarically tortured.

A song to be remembered.

We are small. We are like  spices, just as salt gives the taste to the whole dish. Yes,we are small.  Who asked you to press us so much, to turn us involuntarily into adamant? Who asked you to spread us just like stars, so now you see us at every step? We are small, just like our country… Small…It glitters and shines for ages, but never fades.

Menk by Gevorg Emin,

This is a special post for those who visit my blog(not my friends or teachers, they are in a special category), especially those who found me on Inga and Anush’s blog.

Before thankin’ the readers, I should thank Inga and Anush first, they chose to promote Lake Sevan’s participation to 7 New Wonders of Nature on their blog, mentioning that I inspired them(giving the link to my blog). And now to everyone who follows me…THANKS…thanks for reading….

And now that I mentioned my external readers, i can not avoid my friends and teachers who read my blog every day or once a week. For me, the author, it is very important to know that all my ideas and feelings that I post are being received by someone. That someone is you, dear reader.

Armenia is the country where religion and history are very important, thousands of years ago armenians gave all of their goods to save their manuscripts…to protect our history, to be sure that the future generation will know who we were.

The country is full of old churches and monuments, especially outside the capital…

Here are some photos of my little country called Armenia:D

Inga and Anush

Hitler declarand despre holocaustul evereilor, a spus: 1939- “Who, after all, speaks today of the annihilation of the Armenians?”

Chiar asa este.

Inainte da alegerile prezidentiale, prematurul presedinte American, B. Obama, a declarat:”The United States must recognize the events of 1915-1023, carried out by the Ottoman Empire, as genocide.”…. “The Bush Administartion’s refusal to do so is inexcusable.”

Noi nu vom renunta nici in 1000 de ani, ei da.

Iar acum citat din Obama, un fel de moto al nostru: “Yes we can! The Change will come!”

Dupa cum stiti toti, am o obsesie cu Eurovisionul….asta e..nu se poate trata…si cand zic Eurovision stiti la ce ma gandesc, nu?

Dap, bingo…Armenia…

Sper sa votati sincer!

DRAGILOR…..cand puneti OTHER, scrieti si ce tara….:))
